A fire broke out in a building in Kuwait’s Mangaf city. 41 people have died in this, of which at least 10 are Indians. 5 were from Kerala. More than 50 people are injured in the accident. According to the report of news agency Reuters, this accident happened at around 6 am as per Kuwait time.

The fire that started in the early morning spread rapidly throughout the building. Many people were trapped inside the building. The cause of the fire is not yet known. Major General Eid Rasheed Hamad told the news agency that many migrant workers live in this building.

India’s Foreign Minister S Jaishankar’s statement has also come out on the accident in Kuwait. Through a post on social media, he said, “I am shocked by the accident in Kuwait. About 40 people have died there. We are waiting for the details to come out. The Indian Ambassador has left for the spot. My condolences to those who have lost their loved ones.”
